So You Want to Be a Wizard
This is one of the first fantasy books that really resonated with me. I remember reading in voraciously in my room. The thought that you could find a book that could change your perception of the world (both mine and the character's) was enlightening. If this one didn't start me on the path to SciFi and Fantasy, it sure gave me a strong shove to the back.
